PASTORAL & FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP LETTER
To Our Global Community, Benefactors, and Seekers of Harbor:
On July 1, 2025, Ekklesia Iwiga, Inc. entered a new fiscal year as an Old Catholic 501(c)(3) virtual tele-pastoral ministry. One of the fundamental responsibilities of pastoral leadership is the sound governance and sacred stewardship (diakonia) of the temporal resources entrusted to our organization.
I am pleased to report that Ekklesia Iwiga’s financial health is sound, stable, and completely debt-free. All operational obligations are fully met, and our ministry remains in excellent legal and corporate standing with all state and federal tax-exempt requirements.
However, as a digital "sanctuary without walls," our financial landscape carries unique considerations. While we do not maintain physical brick-and-mortar facilities, our commitments going forward in 2025 and 2026 are shaped by the rising costs of maintaining secure, encrypted tele-care infrastructure, administrative compliance, web data security, and the growing demand for our 100% subsidized Solidarity Care Fund.
Our ability to remain an accessible harbor is made possible through your voluntary generosity. You continue to serve as faithful stewards of God’s gifts, and in turn, our Board of Directors and volunteer leadership remain deeply committed to maximizing the impact of every contribution. In a limited volunteer capacity, and as my physical health permits, I am profoundly grateful to walk alongside each person who reaches out for spiritual direction, patient advocacy, and compassionate listening. Only through your freewill offerings can we sustain this mission of unconditional grace and radical welcome.
We monitor our operating budget with the utmost care and transparency. Just as rising costs impact personal and family budgets at home, prudent spending remains central to our institutional culture. Because our leadership serves on an uncompensated, volunteer basis, every dollar received directly supports our digital sanctuary, compliance safeguards, and zero-cost pastoral care for those facing severe illness or life crisis.
Support for our mission can be offered as a voluntary, tax-deductible freewill contribution at any time through our secure portal at www.ekklesiaiwiga.org/donate (Ekklēsía Iwigá, Inc., EIN: 82-1053983). It is fast, encrypted, and ensures that financial hardship never prevents an individual from receiving compassionate spiritual companioning
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for believing in this virtual sanctuary. My sincere thanks also go to our dedicated Board of Directors for their wise counsel, as well as our Compliance Office for their vigilant work in keeping Ekklesia Iwiga anchored in integrity, safety, and service to God’s people.
May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
